ISC-Pertamina must Expose Crude Oil Tender Process to Public: DPR
House of Representatives (DPR) requested that the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) of PT Pertamina immediately to submit a detailed inaugural tender process of Crude Oil, as well as those who won the bid to the public.
"ISC-Pertamina needs to provide transparent public information on the tender of crude oil. In view that the issue is a very sensitive issue and has the potential to erode the state finances," said a member of the House of Representatives Commission VII, Satya Widya Yudha on Saturday (1/31)
As reported earlier, the tender process had been carried out on 27 January. The bidding was done to meet the needs of crude oil in period of April 2015.
At least two types of crude oil were tendered, namely the Azuri and the Qua Iboe-Nigeria, with a total amount of four million barrels.
Satya also said that if ISC-#Pertamina was not immediately announced the process then they had deviated from the promise made by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said and commitment of Pertamina president Soetjipto as well as Gas Governance Reform Team (RTKM) who wanted the whole tendering oil process made ??transparent.
"If ISC-Pertamina said they needed to conduct closed tender, then they should explain why it should be conducted in private. Point is ISC-Pertamina have to declare the reason," he concluded.
